This Zeiss GFL is a high quality polarizing microscope that is in generally good condition mechanically and optically. It is rated 9/10 (good) cosmetically. The microscope and all accessories are in working condition, it was thoroughly tested and it works mostly as intended with good action, good optics and it provides good focused images. It was tested and is clean & ready to use.

Look at the 12 images provided and judge for yourself. Four of these images were taken with a cellphone camera held up to an eyepiece to illustrate the operation of each objective while observing a rock thin section. All lenses on this scope are generally clean and the controls are generally accurate. The scope would further benefit from additional cleaning, some lubrication and centering as your time allows but it is ready to work right out of the box. I can help with most requests.
