The Reichert AO 570 Stereo Star Zoom is a stereoscopic inspection type microscope with relatively low magnification and a large working distance. It's great for dissection work, field biology (and other kinds of close biological examination), coins, stamps or jewelry, electronics and lots of other hobbies. It can be used with ambient lighting, or you can add additional lighting underneath or overhead.

Viewing is nice and sharp. You'll receive the microscope shown with two 10X American Optical eyepieces. There are some very tiny dust particles inside, present in all old stereo microscopes, but unimportant to overall utility.
